Working within a historic building presented several design challenges. The washroom areas featured varying ceiling heights, exposed brickwork and unconventional layouts, requiring a specification that could adapt to the building’s character while making the most of the available space.

The client needed a washroom solution that complemented the heritage features of the building without compromising on functionality or durability. Maximising space within the designated washroom areas was essential, alongside delivering a high-quality finish that aligned with the premium environment expected within a modern hotel.

Our accredited installers,  T-IPS Washrooms, were appointed to deliver the installation to Venesta's high standards.

Our Unity cubicles were specified in durable High Pressure Laminate (HPL), providing the necessary strength and longevity for the high-traffic hospitality washrooms. This creates a sleek, contemporary appearance while offering a comfortable washroom experience.

Within the cubicles, our Frameduct IPS system was installed to neatly conceal plumbing services while maintaining easy access for future maintenance. The system allows pipework and services to be securely housed behind robust panels, creating a clean and streamlined washroom aesthetic while ensuring practical servicing access for facilities management teams.

The completed washrooms demonstrate how thoughtful specification and adaptable washroom systems can successfully integrate within a historic building.
