Mid Kent Golf Club

As part of an extensive refurbishment of its clubhouse, Mid Kent Golf Club in Gravesend wanted to provide its members with modern, high-quality washroom and shower facilities that could be enjoyed before and after playing their round of golf. The project involved a complete overhaul of both male and female toilets and shower areas, aiming to enhance functionality, hygiene and overall aesthetic while delivering a cohesive design that complemented the upgraded clubhouse environment.

Each area was carefully specified to ensure the leisure washroom systems would withstand the high footfall levels and ensure a functional changing area for its members.

Handwashing Areas

The handwashing areas at Mid Kent Golf Club are the standout feature of this refurbishment, centred around our all-new Mirror Box Units. Designed to maximise wall space and reduce the need for additional accessories, the Mirror Box Units integrate contactless soap and paper towel dispensers, offering fewer touchpoints for enhanced hygiene. Intelligent sensor-controlled technology also delivers water and consumable savings, while subtle backlit detailing and etched icons add a contemporary glow, improving both functionality and atmosphere.

Paired with our popular WT3 Slim Solid Surface washtroughs, these handwashing areas provide a durable, easy-to-maintain, and visually cohesive environment capable of accommodating multiple users simultaneously.

Shower and Toilet areas

The shower facilities were transformed with our Unity Full-Height cubicles specified in Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) to withstand the high-moisture environment typical of shower spaces. Paired with our Frameduct metal framed panelling system, also in SGL, the shower wall panelling ensures duct spaces are kept secure while allowing sanitaryware to be installed on site. The result is a durable, low-maintenance solution that delivers both practicality and a premium finish.
