Baku Shipyard, Baku, Azerbaijan

Fashionable yet functional and suitable for the daily requirements of an industrial environment.

“As a company known for achieving several ‘firsts' in the Caspian Sea, the Caspian Shipyard needed an innovative washroom design to match its own pioneering qualities.”
-

The Project.

Formed in 1997, the Caspian Shipyard Company was the first international rig construction, repair and conversion yard in the Caspian Sea, servicing the offshore oil and gas industry. The company continued to be the pioneering force within its industry, leading to an expansion in 2010.

In the midst of this development it was decided that the installation of some sturdy new washroom suites would be an ideal addition to the new shipyard.

The Challenge.

The Caspian Shipyard Company laid the foundation of a new shipyard which covered 52 hectares.  State of the art machinery, a floating dry dock and a 300 ton Goliath Crane were all features of the vast expansion.  An innovative, yet affordable washroom renovation was therefore required to create the washroom environment the Caspian Shipyard Company sought after, during their expensive refurbishment.

The Solution.

The client collaborated with Venesta and decided on one of Venesta’s most versatile cubicle ranges for their flagship project.  Venesta supplied Quantum with aluminium fittings in solid grade laminate (SGL); making it both fashionable and functional, ready to take on the daily requirement of a cubicle in an industrial environment. Venesta also provided a Frameduct system to complement the cubicles - a made to measure, ready to install metal-framed system which offers a number of benefits. The versatile system allows for a clean finish and offers the perfect solution for concealed plumbing.
