At Venesta we are totally committed to reducing any damaging effects on the environment.
With our suppliers, we seek out ways to inspire and implement solutions to the global environmental crisis.
We continually monitor our activities to save energy and water, recycle paper and plastic, we run a fuel-efficient distribution network, and implement environmentally friendly business travel policies.
We are proud to have achieved 0% board waste to landfill. Having invested £1m into a state-of-the art, 1.75mw biomass burner, we heat our entire manufacturing facility and office building independently through renewable energy produced from burning our board waste material.
Our materials and products have been checked at every stage of processing to ensure we are sourcing from sustainable and ethical sources. We only purchase wood-based panel products from suppliers who are independently certified from either FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification).
We can now add our new standard grade medium-density fibreboard (MDF) to the list of FSC certified products, furthering our contribution to sustainable use, conservation, restoration, and respect for all.
