Venesta Washroom Systems acquires the Intellectual Property Rights for Grant Westfield Commercial Contracts Division products.

Following the recent announcement of Grant Westfield’s decision to withdraw from the Commercial Washrooms market, Venesta and Grant Westfield are pleased to announce Venesta’s acquisition of the Intellectual Property Rights for Grant Westfield Commercial Contracts Division products.

Venesta has agreed a transition license for Grant Westfield to complete and deliver live orders to ensure there is a seamless handover for customers.

With immediate effect all new enquiries for commercial washroom products should be directed to Venesta.

Martin Rees Executive Chairman Venesta commented:

“We are delighted to have been able to acquire from Grant Westfield Contracts Division a range of innovative products that complement and broaden the Venesta product offer. It was important to both Venesta and Grant Westfield that the deal was completed in a matter of a few days to ensure customers have continuity of supply, both sides worked together with tremendous goodwill to complete the deal.”

Sarah McLean Managing Director of Grant Westfield commented:

“Over 80 per cent of Grant Westfield’s business is in the manufacture and distribution of the Multipanel™ range of waterproof decorative panels for bathrooms and kitchens where we occupy the largest share of the market in the UK. That market represents a significant opportunity for accelerated and sustainable growth. Following a strategic review, Grant Westfield decided that Venesta, the UKs leading washroom provider, which has extensive technical and manufacturing resources is best placed to continue to supply the high end products previously offered by our Commercial Contracts Division.”
